CSX train conductor reports fire, but Pasco firefighters find nothing

Pasco County firefighters met a CSX train that was reported to be on fire Saturday night, but they found no fire.

The conductor had reported seeing smoke and flames coming from the train. Pasco County Fire Rescue crew met the train at state 54 and Lumberton Road, checked the entire train and found no signs of fire, authorities said.

The train was cleared allowed to resume its trip. No action was taken by firefighters.
