A 5-week-old puppy named Scooter is recovering after having surgery on one of his legs.
Scooter was found limping alongside a road in New Port Richey.
The SPCA in New Port Richey said after surgery on his broken leg, Scooter is recovering very comfortable.
Scooter was able to get the surgery after an outpouring of donations on a gofundme.com site that was set up for him.
The SPCA was also able to help two other dogs with the remainder of the money raised.
