With more and more visitors making their way to Three Sisters Springs each year, city leaders have come up with a way to keep up with the traffic.

New trolleys are now on the move in Crystal River, ready to pick up tourists eager to see the crystal clear water and wintering manatees.

The trolleys take people from the visitor center on U.S. 19, to Three Sisters Springs.

"Very convenient, especially for people that can't do a whole lot of walking," said Sharon Phillips, visiting from Ohio.

City Manager David Burnell said the new trolleys are a way to get everyone around easily and help solve a growing parking problem.

"This system will allow them to get around to some of the key areas of the city and leave their car behind," Burnell said.

The new trolleys run seven days a week and will also stop downtown so visitors can hit the restaurants and do some shopping.

"We'll check all that out," Phillips said.

It's a new way to get around just in time for another busy manatee season.
