A pedestrian was struck and killed overnight in East Tampa, police said.
The crash happened around 1 a.m. at N. 37th Street N. and E. Hillsborough Avenue, police said.
The pedestrian was described as a middle-aged Hispanic man, but his identity has not been released.
Westbound E. Hillsborough Avenue was closed at 40th Street for about three hours after the crash.
