A Dade City woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 98 early Sunday, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Jennifer Marie Gomez, 21, was traveling westbound in Pasco County, east of Richland, when her 2006 Ford pickup left the roadway, struck a tree and caught fire.
Gomez was pronounced dead at the scene, FHP said.
