A proposal to create a designated areas for street performers in downtown Winter Park is moving forward.
The Winter Park City Commission discussed it Monday night.
Under the proposal, street performers would only be allowed in designated designated spots along Park Avenue.
Violators would face a $500 fine or 60 days in jail.
Final passage could come next month.
