A lot of us are resting up after that big Thanksgiving meal, but others are getting their second wind searching for deals at Tampa Bay's newest outlet mall.

Men, women, and children lined up on Thanksgiving for one of the biggest shopping nights of the year. Even if they were dragged there.

“I should be at home sleeping, but yes I’m here,” said Cody Craven.

Because it’s not every day you see signs advertising 70 percent off.

“Best thing so far, my Tims, my Timberland boots,” shopper Ricardo Kelly said.

“Tennis shoes, which I won’t show you, for my future son-in-law," Terri Dickson said of her finds. "They’re a secret."

The stores opened at 6 p.m. and everyone was ready, running shoes and all.

“I am burning off the calories and planning to get all my Christmas shopping done tonight,” said Dickson.

Some even said this was the real holiday.

“This right here is my Thanksgiving," shopper Larry Kruer said. "Dinner is just a side piece."

The fun won’t stop for a while. The stores will be open all night long.

We asked Craven if it was his idea to be here all night.

“Of course, all night I want to be here," he responded sarcastically.

“It’s his favorite thing, shopping,” said his shopping buddy, Alyssa Chevalier.

The Tampa Premium Outlets will be open until 10 p.m. Friday.
