We'll see more clouds tonight than then, possibly, some fog.

Low level moisture trapped under an inversion will bring us clouds through tonight.  Moisture levels are rather high, so it won't be difficult for low clouds and some fog to form through the night.

Temperatures will be very mild for December, with lows around 60 around Tampa Bay and lower 50s in our northern counties. The morning cloud deck should break up fairly quickly tomorrow, leaving us with partly sunny skies. The moisture is enough for a slight chance of showers - mainly south of Sarasota, though.

A slow-moving front will finally arrive Thursday morning with a change in the wind direction to the north-northeast.  There may be a few showers with the front, along with plenty of clouds. Temperatures will be a little cooler, with highs back into the 70s behind the front.

On Friday, computer models are coming into better agreement about lifting an upper-level disturbance up to the northeast along and just behind the front. This disturbance should trigger a good chance of rain in South Florida, but the rain should hold just to our south.

The trend of a little cooler will continue for through Friday, with highs in the 70s.  It could be breezy to windy behind the front on Friday and Saturday.
