A 19-year-old man is in critical condition after a motorcycle crash in St. Petersburg.
The crash happened just before midnight Wednesday on Interstate 275 south of 22nd Avenue North, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said Brooks E. Hanooman was speeding on a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle on I-275 when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and collided with a concrete wall.
Hanooman was critically injured when he was ejected from the bike, troopers said. He was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.
Officials said Hanooman was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
