A Largo man died Saturday night after he lost control of his motorcycle on a rural Brooksville road and crashed, authorities said.
Around 10:30 p.m., Anthony Mounsey, 48, failed to negotiate a curve on westbound Hayman Road as he approached the intersection of Batten Road, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The 2006 Yamaha FJR1300 traveled off the road and struck a utility pole, throwing Mounsey off.
Munsey was taken to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, where he later died.
