St. Petersburg police have arrested a man suspected of spray-painting several downtown businesses.
Jared Hernandez, 30, is suspected of spray-painting graffiti on several downtown businesses using the tag "Av8r." The most recent incident happened Jan. 13 at the Lucky Dill Deli on Central Avenue.
On Jan. 16, police released surveillance video showing the suspected graffiti artist, which is when Hernandez was identified as the perpetrator.
Hernandez was arrested Wednesday morning outside his St. Petersburg home. Police said he refused to make a statement to detectives.
He has been booked into the Pinellas County Jail on six counts of criminal mischief.
