Road work will inconvenience drivers in one section of Ybor City over the next two weeks.
CSX Transportation is replacing the railroad crossing at 22nd Street between 5th and 7th avenues. During construction, 22nd Street will be closed from just north of 5th Avenue to south of 7th Avenue.
Motorists will not be able to travel through the work zone. Local traffic will only have access up up to 5th Avenue.
The work is part of the 21st and 22nd Street Corridor Improvement Project. It's supposed to take about 10 days
Warning signs, electronic message boards and barricades are being used to help motorists navigate the streets in the area.
