Forestry officials are conducting controlled burns Friday in Hernando and Citrus counties.
One of the burns involves 152 acres in Homosassa in Citrus County.
Another involves 958 acres near Trail 2 of the Croom Tract in Hernando County.
In addition, a controlled burn is taking place on 158 acres in Chassahowitzka.
