The weather is about to change again.

Showers will push through the area late tonight and early tomorrow, and a colder wind from the northwest will follow.

There is a Marine Dense Fog Advisory issued for the coast until 4 a.m. Satellite pictures are showing a large area of dense fog near the coast so mariners and drivers are urged to use caution.

"After a warm front lifted north through the area today, southerly winds have increased," Bay News 9 meteorologist Josh Linker said. "This is leading to some more sea fog along the coast this evening."

Severe thunderstorms are possible late Wednesday night into the early morning hours of Thursday.

"Later tonight, as low pressure in the Gulf of Mexico moves toward northern Florida, an area of rain and a few thunderstorms will develop. The best chance for strong storms will be north of Tampa Bay."

Temperatures will stay in the low to miid 60s tomorrow. A warming trend will bring afternoon temperatures back to 70 on Friday, around 73 on Saturday and close to 80 on Sunday.
