Have ideas on transportation improvements?

The Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) needs the public's input on transportation improvements planned over the next 10-year period for Citrus County.

This will be conducted on Saturday, March 7, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the 28th Annual Floral City Strawberry Festival, located at Floral City Park, 9530 S. Parkside Ave. in Floral City.

As an urban funded transit system, Citrus Transit is required by the State of Florida to have a major Transit Development Plan (TDP) by July 1, 2015.  The TDP contains a 10-year financial plan, and must be consistent with the Transit Element of the Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP).
