Officials think they've captured one of the dogs involved in an attack on a barn full of animals at a Lakeland school.

The dogs have killed at least nine animals at Tenoroc High School in the last two days.

Animal control officials originally thought this could be the work of a coyote but they’ve now learned that two stray dogs are likely responsible.

News of the killings has put neighbors on edge.

“Tell them to be aware of it. Be aware and take caution because they can attack you,” said Dorease Headley, who lives near the school.

School officials say the barn is far away from the classrooms and no students were hurt. The remaining animals have been moved off site.
