Florida Polytechnic University is one step closer to having more dorm rooms.
Vestcor Communities is adding a residence hall for 500 students. Each unit has two bedrooms, a bathroom and a stackable washer and dryer.
Common areas include TV and game rooms, kitchens and study lounges.
Construction will start in April and is expected to be finished in July 2016.
The company also built the first set of on-campus housing last year.
