The Pasco County Sheriff's Office said there may be a reason why an Uber driver from Wesley Chapel hasn't been seen since Sunday.

During a news conference Wednesday, Pasco Sheriff Chris Nocco said surveillance video of Sean Golden at a Seffner gas station appears to show bags in his vehicle, making them believe he may be traveling somewhere - possibly towards central Florida.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, the video shows Sean Golden at the Flying J gas station around 4:30 a.m. Sunday at 11555 East Sligh Avenue in Tampa. He has not been seen or heard from since then.

Officials said Golden, 39, works as an Uber driver and had dropped off his last passenger just after 4 a.m. The sheriff's office interviewed Golden's last two passengers, and that both were cooperative.

Law enforcement has been trying to track down Golden, but they say that both his cell phones are not active.  They also said he signed out of the Uber service after he made his last drop-off.

His family or friends have not heard from him since, deputies said. Deputies said there is a possibility he may have driven east from Tampa on Interstate 4.

Golden's wife, Corrine, said her husband's disappearance is out of character.

Corrine spoke to Bay News 9 by phone on Wednesday, only saying she did not understand why he would leave and that she just hopes he is safe and comes home.

Nocco publicly asked Sean Goldman to let his family know he is OK.

Meanwhile, officials are still investigating, including examining Goldman's laptop. Victim advocates continue to work with Corrine and her children.
