The Valspar Championship is back at the Innisbrook golf and Spa resort this week, bringing with it some major players but also, some play time for kids.

A family fun zone, located between the 8th green and 9th tee, features a climbing wall, games and prizes, as well as a 9-hole mini golf course.

“Sometimes the PGA Tour and golf can have the image of having to be so quiet,” said tournament director Tracy West. “We want people to understand golf is a fun sport.”

The tournament runs through Sunday and children under 15-years-old get in for free. Bright House Networks, the parent company of Bay News 9, is a proud sponsor of the event.
