The Guardian ad Litem (GAL) program is currently seeking volunteers to support abused, neglected or abandoned children whose cases are in the court system.
Eligible volunteers must be at least 21-years-old, successfully complete a preservice training program and be cleared of any serious criminal history via a Level II criminal background check.
The next GAL volunteer training is scheduled for March 26-28 at the Ocala Police Dept.
