Detectives are meeting with the State Attorney's Office to determine if a Tampa man will be charged in a fatal shooting.

According to police, 35-year-old Anton Kerel Fisher was shot and killed Monday night outside the Hope Food Store at 4002 North 22nd Street. Police said Fisher pulled a gun after an argument between a friend and another man escalated outside the store.

Martin, who was a bystander to the argument, got involved when Fisher pointed the gun at him, according to authorities.

Martin, who has a concealed firearm permit, pulled out his own gun and shot Fisher, who died while being transported to an area hospital.

Martin stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police investigation.
