A morning with some fog and cloud cover gave way to a warm and partly sunny day Wednesday in the Bay area.

According to Bay News 9 meteorologist Juli Marquez, there is only a slight chance of rain today and conditions will remain warm.

"Dry air will remain in place but a seabreeze will develop along the coast, keeping the coast cooler," Marquez said. "It will be warm inland with high temperatures rising into the low to mid 80s."

Conditions will change by Thursday when rain chances jump to 30 percent.

An approaching cold front will change conditions even more by Friday, when there will be breezy conditions and a 70 percent chance of rain.
