A fifth person has been charged in the January death of an 82-year-old Clearwater man.

Bianca Spera, 30, has been indicted on first-degree murder charges in the death of Allen Usher.

Usher was shot and killed Jan. 9 inside his home in the Southgate Mobile Home Park, located at 20000 U.S. 19 N.

Investigators said Spera, who is an inmate at Lowell Correctional Institute, was involved in the coordination of the crime.

According to investigators, another inmate at the prison was a former acquaintance of Usher's, and told Spera that Usher might be an easy target for a robbery.

Spera then passed that information on to others, giving them Usher's name, address and details of what they could find in his home, investigators said.

Four other suspects were charged with first-degree murder last month in the case: Excel Lawson, Alex Richardson, Jonathan Nelson and Gaetano Spera. Officials said Gaetano Spera is Bianca Spera's half-brother.

The investigation continues.
