Ireland Nugent is approaching the two-year anniversary of when she lost her feet in a lawn mower accident, and the young girl wants to give back.

"We asked her what she wanted to do," said Ireland’s father, Jerry Nugent. "She said she wanted to get toys for the kids at the hospital for the kids who don’t have them."

Partnering with Steve Chamberland's charity organization, 50 Legs, and other local organizations, Ireland Nugent was able to collect more than 60 bikes and dozens of toys for local children. Her family plans to distribute the toys to children at All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg on April 10, the two-year anniversary of the accident. The bikes will go to children helped by the High Point Neighborhood Family Center in Clearwater.

"I think she's a fantastic little soul," TJ Sutton said.

Sutton's organization, Suncoast Brotherhood, helped organize the event.

"To say that she wanted to do something for other children, that speaks volumes about her and her family," Sutton said.

The 4-year-old rode a pink bicycle among the dozens of revving motorcycles. She shared hugs and kisses as she accepted toys to give to other children.

"I really wanted to help kids," Ireland said. "Just like I was hurt one day and I had to go to the hospital. That's why I wanted to give toys to other kids."

The event was held at Screwie Louie's Porpoise Pub, in Seminole.

The restaurant and bar also hosted a raffle to raise money for 50 Legs, which is a charity that helps amputees get prosthetics. They hoped to raise enough money to buy three prosthetics for three amputees in need.
