Another blast of wintry weather is impacting the northeast and the mid-Atlantic.

A line of snow, sleet, ice and rain is stretching from Texas to Massachusetts.

The impact of the weather is being felt at Tampa International Airport where more than 30 flights were delayed or canceled Thursday morning.

Much of the South was forecast to see temperatures drop 30 to 45 degrees in a 24-hour period thanks to yet another arctic cold front.

Some locations are seeing their coldest temperatures ever recorded so late in the season, including Nashville and Louisville, Kentucky, where temperatures may drop into the single digits.

Meanwhile, areas farther north, such as Maryland and New Jersey, were already seeing snow early Thursday and federal workers in the Washington area were told to stay home.

A wintry mix of precipitation fell Wednesday night in Memphis, where a sheet of ice coated the roads, making driving especially hazardous.

Early Thursday, 11 departures from TIA (including to Dallas, Washington and Philadelphia) were canceled. Also, 20 incoming flights had been affected, including flights from Newark, Philadelphia, Baltimore and New York.
