It will be a warm in the Bay area today with a mostly sunny afternoon.

According to Bay News 9 meteorologist Juli Marquez, there may be an isolated shower or two in the area but for the most part, the Bay area will stay dry.

"We will have sunshine and warm temperatures," Marquez said. "There is a frontal boundary to the north of Florida but Tampa Bay stays dry."

High temperatures Wednesday will rise to about 80 degrees. A west wind will keep the beaches in the 70s today but it will be in the low 80s in inland locations.

Rain chances are 10 percent today and jump to 30 percent on Thursday.
