The man who landed a gyrocopter on the lawn of the U.S. Capitol this week is headed back to Florida to await his next hearing.

Self-professed patriot Doug Hughes, 61, was released from custody two days ago, but hasn’t been seen since.

However, he has to return before Monday, which is when his home detention begins.

Neighbors are surprised with all the attention and want to know what Hughes has to say.

“I believe he was trying got make a point and point made, and I would like to hear from him,” said Laura Harris, a neighbor.

Hughes’ wife was in and out of their home Saturday. She only said her husband’s cell phone is dead and she doesn’t know when or how he will be getting home.
