A suspect in an armed robbery at a Tampa ABC Liquor store last weekend has been arrested.
The robbery happened last Sunday at a store at East Hillsborough Avenue.
Police said the suspect, Abdul Farid Naim Muhammad, was a current employee at another location, on West Kennedy Boulevard.
Tampa Police detectives received a tip from the community that led them to the 37-year-old suspect.
Police said he was at a local hospital where he was being treated for a gunshot wound. He told hospital staff that he was the victim of a robbery, police said.
Muhammad was arrested on a warrant for armed robbery, aggravated battery and felon in possession of a firearm.
