A man and a woman suffered non-life-threatening wounds when they were struck by gunfire in the Grant Park area of Tampa on Saturday night, police said.
Antonika Latrice Wimberly, 30, of Tampa and Doquan MacCloud, 20, of Palm River were gathered with others in the 3200 block of N 49th Street just after 10 p.m. when they were hit by gunfire from a large beige sport utility vehicle, police said. The victims were treated at local hospitals.
Detectives are investigating.
