A Dade City teenager was killed, and another seriously injured in a car accident last week.
According to FHP, on April 24th, 16-year-old Austin Thomas Council was traveling in a 2002 Ford Mustang when he swerved to avoid another vehicle on Smith Road near Roberts Road.
Troopers say Council then lost control of the vehicle, which struck a mailbox and four trees.
Council and passenger Jordan Abigail Ivie, 17, were transported to St. Joseph's Hospital with serious injuries. Ivie died from her injuries two days later.
