After a wet morning, a large patch of rain and thunderstorms is moving out of the Bay area.
The heaviest rain continues to move to the south, leaving light rain over most of the Bay area. Most of the Bay area has seen about an inch of rain, with some parts of Pasco County receiving closer to two inches.
"Around our area now, things are beginning to dry out," said Bay News 9 Chief Meteorologist Mike Clay. "As we head through the evening a few showers may redevelop."
No flooding or severe weather has been reported. However, there is an elevated risk of rip currents at beaches throughout Wednesday evening.
