Citrus County Sheriff's Office detectives say a man found dead in a hot tub is in fact 54-year-old Stephen Gorney, of Crystal River.
Deputies say Gorney was severely beaten by two 17-year-olds and left in his own hot tub on N. Griffith Ave. for an undetermined amount of time. Deputies say the teens ransacked his home, stole a van, two motorcycles and cash.
Detectives arrested both juveniles and charged them with 1st degree murder, armed robbery and grand theft (four counts).
