Authorities have released the identity of a 19-year-old woman who died in a two-car crash at Dale Mabry Highway and N Lakeview Drive last Thursday night.
Jenna Kalyn Williamson, 19, of Land O' Lakes, was a passenger in a 2006 Nissan sedan that collided with a 2003 Mazda sedan in the intersection just before 8 p.m. She died at the scene.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, David Dario Cruz, 20, of Tampa started a left turn from southbound Dale Mabry onto Lakeview and crossed into the path of the Nissan, which was traveling north with a green light. The crash spun both cars to the northeast corner of the intersection.
The driver of the Nissan, Angel Luis Travieso Jr., 20, of Land O' Lakes was seriously injured and taken to St. Joseph's Hospital. Cruz suffered minor injuries and was not hospitalized.
