Two Citrus County teenagers accused of murdering a Crystal River man and leaving him in a hot tub will be tried as adults.

A grand jury indicted Bryan Robinson, 17, and Tyzick Wall, 17, of first-degree premeditated murder for the death of Stephen Gorney, 54, of Crystal River, as well as robbery with a deadly weapon and two counts of dealing in stolen property.

Deputies said two to three weeks ago, the teens went to the house in the middle of the night, stole Gorney's cash, van, and two motorcycles, and then beat him to death.

"After doing that, after ransacking the residence and getting everything they wanted, they proceeded to drag him into the hot tub and left him for dead," said Smith.

Both teens were being housed in separate juvenile detention facilities but have since been transferred to the jail in Alachua County and Marion County.

This week, deputies bring both Robinson and Wall to the Citrus County Detention Facility where they will remain until trial.
