Big scattered storms from Friday evening will die down with partly cloudy skies taking us into early Saturday morning.

According to Bay News 9 meteorologist Brian McClure, the pattern changes this weekend with a dominant wind from the east.

"That will result in a sunny first half of the day but scattered storms moving toward our coast in the late afternoon to evening and moving out into the Gulf at night," McClure said.

Lows will be in the low to mid 70s tonight. Highs will be hot all weekend, topping out in the low to mid 90s each day.

A flood advisory is still in effect for Polk County, who saw severe thunderstorms on Friday evening.
