The Pasco County man arrested earlier this month in the shooting death of his father is now in the Land O' Lakes Detention Center.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Patrick Clarke Jr., who was arrested May 11 in Monroe County, was returned to the area Thursday night.
Deputies say Clarke, 22, shot and killed his father Patrick O. Clarke, Sr. at the older man's home at 4802 Trafford Road in Holiday on May 9.
The older Clarke, 50, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Clarke Jr. drove away from the home in a black, 4-door Cadillac and was arrested two days later in Key West after being spotted driving the vehicle by an off-duty Monroe County Sheriff's Office deputy.
Key West Police officers took Clarke Jr. into custody.
