Whenever the Tampa Bay Lightning play at home, Allen Stevens sets up shop.

"I do it for every game -- every game I'm able to be here," Stevens said.

For the last five years, he's been painting Lightning bolts, beards and player's numbers on people's faces to help raise money for Shriners Hospitals.

"I put them on babes, in arms and I've done them on senior citizens so there's no age limit," Stevens said. "It's like at the circus ... this is for fans of all ages."

Amy Kennedy got a lightning bolt on one cheek and the Stanley Cup on the other.

She hopes it's a good omen.

"It can't hurt," Kennedy said. "But they've also got their own mojo inside, they're ready, I know they are ready."

Other fans like Victoria Alpert said the face paint helps them feel like part of the crowd.

"It looks cool and it's fun when you're at the game and you show who you're rooting for," Alpert said.

As for Stevens, there's no doubt who he's rooting for.

Just as soon as the game starts, he "bolts."

"I get through with the face painting and I head right in there to my seat. I sit right behind the goal in Seat 109," he said.

Stevens said he's looking forward to "painting the town" with another hockey championship.

"How much am I hoping they make it to the Stanley Cup? Nothing I want more," he said.
