Two people were injured in what appeared to be a home invasion in Hernando in Citrus County early Tuesday morning.
It happened at a home on the 3400 block of North Page Avenue.
The victims were taken to Ocala Regional.
Detectives and forensic technicians are still on scene interviewing witnesses inside the home and neighbors.
Deputies are looking for suspects involved, but do not believe nearby residents are in any danger.
At this time, investigators do not believe this was a random incident.
The relationship between the homeowners and suspects is unknown.
