The Pasco County Sheriff's Office says a Hudson man last seen on Wednesday has returned home.

Abdon L. Placzek, 90, was last seen driving away from his Teasdale Avenue residence on Wednesday afternoon.

On Thursday morning, officials said Placzek, who has dementia, returned home safely. They said they do not know where he was during the time he was gone.

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man last seen Wednesday at his Hudson home.

Abdon L. Placzek, 90, was last seen by his wife driving away from his Teasdale Avenue residence in a 2013 silver Chevrolet Traverse with a Florida tag of T287IY.

Authorities said Placzek was taking the family dog, a black-and-white 80-pound poodle, to a 1 p.m. veterinarian appointment. He made it to that appointment but never returned home.

Placzek, who has been diagnosed with dementia, is 5-foot-9 with gray hair and blue eyes.

Placzek was last seen wearing a green, striped collared shirt, dark gray shorts, and black gym shoes.
