Sunday started out cool again with slightly below-normal temperatures.

The big feature of the day was the low humidity. These are the dew points from the evening-low for this time of year.

Temperatures will be a little below-normal Monday morning again. Dew points though, will edge up through the day.

Winds will be breezy out of the east. Early in the morning and again in the evening the winds will surge and be higher over the Eastern Gulf waters.

A Small Craft Advisory is in effect through 8 a.m. and will probably be back in effect Monday evening into Tuesday morning.

An upper-level low will move from over the Keys Monday to the Western Atlantic late on Tuesday. This will increase our rain chances.

The best chance will be on Wednesday as a surface low may develop east of Florida. Rain chances will be higher over Southeast Florida though.  Rain chances will decrease on Thursday. Temperatures will move into the upper 80s by the end of the week.

Here were this morning's low temperatures:

  • Crystal River, 54 degrees
  • Inverness, 54
  • Brooksville, 55
  • Clearwater, 64
  • Tampa, 65
  • St. Petersburg, 69
  • Brandon, 59
  • Plant City, 59
  • Lakeland, 60
  • Winter Haven, 62
  • Bradenton, 61
