When 6-year-old Owen left his stuffed tiger at Tampa International, airport staff stepped in to make sure the toy was well-cared for.

What they did with the homemade stuffed tiger named Hobbes while he was away from Owen has since gone viral.

The airport's staff found the toy tiger and gave him his own adventure, taking photos along the way. The staff then posted the photos on Facebook and Twitter.

In one photo, Hobbes is checking out the traffic control tower. In another, he's looking at some gelato, and in yet another, he's keeping busy delivering luggage. Hobbes even helped maintenance crews coordinate repairs and spent time with firefighters on the flight line.

When Owen came home, the airport says he was reunited with Hobbes at the lost-and-ofound office and presented with a picture book showing the five-day adventure.

The photos, which were posted on Facebook on Monday, have since been shared more than 6,000 times and have garnered hundreds of comments.
