A Bay area mom has launched her own non-profit after a tragic crash claimed the lives of her two children and injured her third child.

The children and their two grandfathers were driving from Illinois to Tarpon Springs, when authorities said a drunk driver crashed into their car on a Georgia Interstate June 21st.

Eight-year-old Kaybrin Osborne and 7-year-old Halle Young were killed, along with 49-year-old Michael Farlow.

Three-year-old Clayton and Mike Osborne, their grandfather, was seriously injured. The two are fighting for their lives in an Atlanta hospital.

Jorge Solis, 20, was arrested at the scene.

"The only word I have come up with to describe it is incomprehensible," said Jamie Maloney, a friend of the family.

Maloney was with the children's mom, Kimberly Ingoldsby, when she got the call.

"I don't think I've ever seen so much devastation in a person," Maloney said.

Since the crash, Ingoldsby has been by her son's side and using Facebook to mourn.

"The facts are this, my children died," Ingoldsby wrote on Facebook. "I'm outraged at the entire world right now. All I can say is this: this happened to the wrong mother. I'm a fighter. I'm going to fight back at the world. I'm going to change things."

In response to the tragedy, Ingoldsby launched a non-profit to raise money and honor her children's memory.

The organization is called Hatti's Angels, named after Ingoldsby's 6-month-old Hatti. She was the only child who was not involved in the crash.

"The mission of Hatti's Angels is to bring awareness and to work in the DUI problem in the community," Maloney said.

Those angels the organization highlights are Kaybrin and Halli. The two were looking forward to getting to Tarpon Springs so they could be with their mother.

"They are her world," Maloney said. "They're her strength. They're her everything."

In the midst of heartbreaking grief, Hatti's two angels took on a new role. After being unresponsive, Ingoldsby's 3-year-old started nodding his head in response to yes or no questions.

"We have a miracle," Ingoldbsy wrote on Facebook. "Praise Jesus!"

Three-year-old Clayton is in critical condition with internal injuries, head and spine trauma.
