A man upset over the price of his commute in Winter Haven took his anger out on a bus on Saturday.

According to police, the man got off a bus at the Winter Haven Area Transit bus terminal located at 555 Avenue E. around 11:35 a.m., to travel to a new destination.

When the bus driver told the man that it would be an extra $2 to travel to another stop, the man became extremely agitated, police said.

The bus driver then got off the bus, locked the door and went inside of the enclosed part of the terminal area, while the man sat on a bench for a while, then walked away.

Police said just a few minutes later, the man came back and began head butting the glass doors, shattering the glass. He knocks himself out for a few seconds, eventually gets up and runs off.

Winter Haven police are looking for the man, who is described as a approximately 5'9" with a slim build. He was wearing slip on shoes with socks, glasses and dark green or gray shorts. His t-shirt has the graphic "Ounces 40" on the front.

Anyone with information on who this suspect is asked to call Officer Jodi Lott at 863-401-2256.
