Pasco Sheriff's detectives are now calling the suspicious death of a 92-year-old woman at her home Tuesday in New Port Richey a homicide.

Deputies received the call at 11:36 a.m. on July 28.

Preliminary information indicated that Carolyn J. Martin, who lived on the 6600 block of Florida Avenue, had fallen and died in her home, according to deputies.

Additional information obtained in the investigation led deputies to believe that her death is suspicious.

The Medical Examiner has ruled her death a homicide, but deputies are not releasing the cause of death.
