While a line of strong thunderstorms moved through Hillsborough County on Friday, the roof of a Tampa warehouse blew off, taking a powerline with it.

According to officials, an aluminum canopy blew off a shed at Vision Kitchen and Bath, located at at 56th Street and Bonaker Drive. Officials say the building is in an industrial area.

Nobody was hurt and TECO responded to the scene to restore power in the area.

A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for the north-central portion of Hillsborough County. Pea-sized hail was reported in the area.

Earlier on Friday, there was one report of hail falling in Largo. A flood warning was issued for Pasco County but has since expired.

Low temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s around Tampa Bay and low 70s in our northern counties.

An area of high pressure will remain across Florida on Saturday with light winds in the morning, then an afternoon sea breeze.

The Fourth of July will be partly sunny with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening.

High temperatures will remain above normal, with most of the Tampa Bay area in the low to mid 90s Saturday afternoon.

There is a chance of a few scattered thunderstorms Saturday evening, followed by partly cloudy skies overnight. Low temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s.

Sunday will be partly sunny with a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the low 90s.

The area of high pressure will remain across the state early next week.
