Police arrested a man the say tried to enter I-375 on the exit ramp near downtown St. Petersburg early Saturday.
Around 12:15 a.m., an officer saw a 2012 Chrysler heading the wrong way on 4th Avenue N and getting onto westbound I-375 via the eastbound exit ramp, according to police.
Peter Favara, 28, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. His blood-alcohol content was .248, more than three times the level at which Florida law presumes impairment, according to the arrest report.
