An Odessa woman was killed Sunday night in a single-car crash on Race Track Road, authorities said.
Yolanda Mendozza, 37, was driving a 2007 Saturn Sky north around 55 mph at 9:15 when she drove off the roadway, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
The car struck several trees before hitting a concrete wall on the east side of the road just south of Fountainhead Drive.
Deputies had received a report of reckless driving just before the crash, the sheriff's office said. Mendozza wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car.
