Atmospheric moisture is increasing and a front is drifting closer to our region from the northwest.

These features will combine to give us better rain chances the next couple days.

Expect partly cloudy skies with some scattered storms overnight into early Thursday morning.

The best chance of storms will be near coastal areas for the morning.  Lows will be in the 70s to low 80s.

Expect partly sunny skies with a 60 percent coverage of scattered storms during the day Thursday.  Highs will be near 90.

High pressure will build in from the east over the weekend.

The Bay area will have plenty of moisture in our area this weekend and early next week.

The rain chance is around 60 percent but depends on the future track and strength of Erika.
