A Polk County man arrested on child pornography charges now faces over 400 more.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said 21-year-old Daniel Dunfee forced teens to send him explicit images and then threatened them.

“Ladies and gentleman, we have videos of these babies screaming and crying and begging him, 'Don’t make me do this,'” Judd said.

At a first appearance hearing Wednesday, Dunfee's bail was set at over $4 million.

The alleged victims were from all across the country.

Dunfee, who faces an additional 426 charges of possession of child pornography charges, has been in the Polk County Jail since his May 26 arrest.

According to Judd, Dunfee tricked at least nine teenagers into sending him explicit images and videos. He’s accused of threatening to harm their families and threatening to put their faces on nude images and post them online.

“Those children -- those 13 and 14 year olds - did the most horrible things you can imagine because they thought if they didn’t that they would end up splashed all over the social media scene,” Judd said.

The sheriff is hoping the charges will keep him behind bars for a long time.

“He could receive 7,155 years in prison, and if you had to see what my detectives had to see, that’s not long enough,” Judd said.

The sheriff said there could be more victims out there. He’s asking parents to talk with their children about sextortion plots popping up online.
