Victor Perra has no doubts that Claudia Diaz is the one for him.

But when it came to popping the question, Perra was unsure how to do it.

So he turned to Michelle and Marco Sanchez of Infimo Productions and Design. The couple, who started out in wedding and engagement photography, decided to launch a proposal planning service earlier this summer.

"We realized there aren’t any services in Tampa that cater to that type of event so we thought, 'Hey we are creative and love putting events together,' and thought 'Let’s do it,' ” Michelle Sanchez said.

Marco Sanchez said he knows how hard it is to put together a proposal. He said he wished he had help asking Michelle to spend the rest of her life with him.

“When I popped the question to her it was difficult so I know, first-hand experience, it’s difficult for a regular guy,” Marco Sanchez said.

With the help of St. Petersburg Carriages, the Sanchezes planned a Cinderella proposal for Perra and Diaz. Perra took Diaz on a horse-drawn carriage ride though Woodmont Park in Temple Terrace before getting down on one knee inside a heart made of rose petals.

“I said, 'Will you marry me?' and she said, 'Yes, of course!' ” Perra said.

The pair then enjoyed dinner and champagne in the park’s gazebo.

"I just love seeing the smile in their faces and knowing we took a part in this very special part in their life,” Michelle Sanchez said.

Grooms-to-be can pick from different proposal packages or make their own from scratch. The Sanchezes handle the rest, from coordinating vendors to recording the entire proposal.

In just two months, Infimo Productions and Designs has pulled off five proposals.

Anna Coats, owner of Marry Me Tampa Bay, said she’s seen a growing trend of grand-gesture proposals.

"At Marry Me Tampa Bay, we are finding that grooms are starting before the proposal even happened and starting to plan more elaborate proposals,” Coats said. “Now you’re starting to see videographers involved, photographers involved, really capturing the whole moment."

Coats said social media is also a big selling point for these types of proposals.

“I think that it’s really part of the celebration,” Coats said. “As YouTube has come about you’re seeing these videos and it’s giving people more inspiration to make their special moments in their life really pop and shine.”
